Our Weed Control Schedule
At Sunrise Pest & Turf Management, our weed control program also includes fertilization treatments and consists of 5 visits overall, 4 of which will include weed control treatments. Below is a breakdown of our weed control schedule and what each visit includes:
- Visit 1:Â During our first visit, we will apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment to prevent weeds from sprouting on your lawn and a post-emergent treatment to target any existing weeds. We will also apply a liquid fertilizer treatment to your lawn to give it a boost of nutrients.
- Visit 2:Â This visit includes a post-emergent weed control treatment and the second round of liquid fertilization treatment.
- Visit 3:Â For our third visit, we will spray any existing weeds and whether dependent, we apply a granular fertilizer to your lawn.
- Visit 4:Â Our fourth visit includes a post-emergent weed control treatment and another liquid fertilization treatment.
- Visit 5: Â For our final visit of the year, we apply a liquid, turf-builder fertilizer treatment to provide your grass with the nutrients it needs to make it through the winter.

Our Basic program includes 4 of the 5 rounds outlined in the section above, removing the 3rd round in the summer. Our Premium program consists of the 5 steps that are listed in the above section. Our premium program is designed to control undesired weeds all season long while providing your lawn with the essential nutrients it needs for premium health and sustained growth.
